WHO IS A BUTTERFLY SCHOLAR?
Butterfly Scholars serves Omaha-area high school seniors preparing for graduation and life after high school.
Class of 2027
CAP & GOWN SCHOLAR
For the Class of 2027, Butterfly Scholars is focused on helping Omaha-area high school seniors who need financial assistance purchasing their required graduation cap and gown.
A Class of 2027 Scholar:
- OMAHA AREA
- Attends an Omaha-area high school.
- CLASS OF 2027
- Is a current high school senior graduating with the Class of 2027.
- ON TRACK TO GRADUATE
- Is on track to meet their high school’s graduation requirements.
- HAS A FINANCIAL NEED
- Needs financial assistance purchasing the required cap and gown for graduation.
Class of 2028
Program in DevelopmentMENTORSHIP + DEVELOPMENT SCHOLAR
Beginning with the Class of 2028, Butterfly Scholars plans to expand into a year-long mentorship and development experience for Omaha-area high school seniors.
A Class of 2028 Scholar will be:
- OMAHA AREA
- Attend an Omaha-area high school.
- CLASS OF 2028
- Be preparing to graduate with the Class of 2028.
- OPEN TO MENTORSHIP
- Be willing to receive guidance, encouragement, and support from an assigned mentor.
- ABLE TO PARTICIPATE
- Be able to attend required monthly mentor/program sessions.
- ENGAGED + COMMUNICATIVE
- Be willing to communicate consistently and remain engaged throughout the program.
- PREPARING FOR GRADUATION
- Be actively working toward completing high school and preparing for the transition beyond graduation.
